DBT - Many patients struggle to manage painful emotions and resolve relationship conflicts in their lives. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) equips clients with specific skills to help maintain a healthy mental wellbeing. DBT focuses on teaching clients mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Clients who choose to have DBT sessions develop stronger self-confidence and emotional growth. This form of therapy is most effective with regular sessions and in combination with CBT, if preferred.
